I can say that as someone who has had my life changed by going to this clinic. It is so special to work with them on their paid advertising strategy, getting the word out to other women in Mount Vernon. Although, I’d selfishly love it if they were kept a secret 😉.

Chinn GYN focuses on helping women look and feel their best, whatever that looks like for each individual. The focus is not on a specific cosmetic standard, rather a deep desire to help women feel stronger and more confident in their bodies.
Business Challenges
I started working with Chinn GYN in 2022. They had an overwhelmingly positive reputation that if you knew them, you loved them. The problem was that not enough people knew about the clinic or didn’t understand what made Chinn GYN different from other clinics in the area. They relied heavily on referrals and word of mouth as their marketing strategy. That’s how I first heard of them – a friend recommended the clinic to me.
Chinn GYN was doing a lot of great social media work and some paid ads marketing but when I met with their clinic manager, she lacked confidence in her existing paid marketing team. She couldn’t see the direct link between their marketing investment and new patients, and she wasn’t able to access the metrics she wanted to see.
Unfortunately, I hear this a lot from business owners. They’re wondering if paid ads work and can drive real results. Sometimes they’ve worked with an agency that didn’t get the results they wanted, or lacked transparency to show whether the paid advertising campaigns were effective.
I was really excited when Chinn GYN hired Woods MarCom to create and manage their paid advertising strategy.
Strategy and Implementation
One of the first things we did for Chinn GYN was build a landing page for the ads that are built to convert. Many times we see paid ads driving customers to the homepage of a website and this is rarely the ideal strategy. Without a strategically built landing page, customers may click on your ads but then get lost once they reach your site – either overwhelmed with options or unsure where to go. We wanted new customers to fill out the form or call the office, so we built a landing page designed to convert. You can view the page here.
Chinn GYN then invested in paid search and Meta ads. We update their “always on” ad creative every three months to test new strategies and track how the conversion rate is improving. We also run regular specials and service features to attract new customers to their medspa services. We do call tracking and lead generation tracking through the form attached to the ad. That way, we know how many calls and form submissions came in from the ads.

Chinn GYN had some incredible results from our paid advertising strategy so far. In 2024, their impression share on Google was over 50%, meaning their ads were showing in search results more than 50% of the time, outranking competitors in the space by as much as 45%.
The Google campaign also showed a click through rate (CTR) of more than 7%, which is more than double the industry benchmark of 3.27%.

Their Meta performance over the same period was also impressive. They saw over 500 new patient inquiries in 2024 directly from their paid Meta campaign. Their Meta CTR was 3.36% averaged across the year, with an industry benchmark for healthcare lead generation campaigns between 1% – 2.5%.

Once a client is through the door, they are typically very loyal customers, often purchasing thousands of dollars in services over the lifetime of their relationship. Chinn GYN’s customer retention rate is extremely high because they provide such great service, so their investment in a new customer results in a long-term benefit.
In terms of their total performance, they earn a lot of engagement on their ads. More than 700 new patient inquiries entered their funnel through the landing page form or called the office, and we also see new leads entering the funnel through direct messages on Facebook. In 2024, Chinn GYN had 160 people respond to their ad by sending a DM. While these people didn’t go to the landing page, they still interacted with Chinn GYN’s paid digital ad and entered into their lead funnel. It’s important to track metrics on every entry point for new customers, so you can ensure you connect with each new lead.
